Fire safety training helps your team prevent incidents, respond calmly if something happens, and meet workplace responsibilities.
HST can deliver training to suit different roles; from general staff awareness through to fire marshal / warden responsibilities.

COURSE LIST

Fire Safety Awareness (Level 1) — 1/2 Day
Ideal for all employees, especially in low-to-medium risk environments. This course builds everyday confidence and reinforces safe habits.
Main topics include:
•    How fires start (the fire triangle) and common workplace causes
•    Fire prevention and good housekeeping
•    What to do if you discover a fire
•    Raising the alarm and calling the emergency services
•    Evacuation procedures and assembly points
•    Fire doors, escape routes, and basic fire safety signage
•    Understanding workplace fire risks and responsibilities


Fire Marshal / Warden Training (Level 2) — 1 Day
Designed for nominated fire marshals/wardens and anyone with additional fire safety responsibilities. This course goes beyond awareness and focuses on leadership during an incident.
Main topics include:
•    Fire risk basics and how to reduce hazards in your workplace
•    Roles and responsibilities of a fire marshal/warden
•    Evacuation leadership: sweeps, roll calls, and assisting others
•    Managing fire drills and improving evacuation performance
•    Fire safety equipment overview (alarms, detectors, extinguishers)
•    Reporting issues and supporting fire safety compliance
•    Post-incident actions and documentation
